Time to cut those cords as we discuss the 1996 dark comedy The Cable Guy starring Jim Carrey and Matthew Broderick. When the local cable guy develops an unhealthy friendship with a customer, chaos ensues shortly after. Reading a synopsis of this film is creepy and calls in to question what genre it actually is. Is there a reason this film is so divisive amongst audiences?
