Rock and roll in the 70's was sexy, sleek, wild, and desirable. But when young reporter William discovers the truths about the business, he must mature quickly in order to finish his Rolling Stone article on the band. William must find a way to finally be "cool."

The bartender never gets killed! On this episode we are discussing the 1995 Robert Rodriguez classic Desperado. A follow up to his ultra low budget El Mariachi, this film continues the protagonists journey as he vows revenge for his murdered wife. Starring the shockingly handsome Antonio Banderas, this bang bang shoot em up neo-western is destined to leave you wanting more.

It's time to go back to Camp Crystal Lake as Zach and Justin discuss the remake/reboot/whatever of Friday the 13th (2009). This ain't yo daddy's Jason Voorhees. This is a new, fierce, fast, and tunnel dwelling S.O.B. But does this version even hold up?

Shit just got real! In Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016) a troubled boy must learn to get along with his Uncle as they explore the New Zealand Bush as fugitives. Despite that weak plot description, this movie is utterly hilarious and wholesome. How can you dislike a Taika Waititi film?

Feeling some super hero fatigue? Well, we've got just the thing as we discuss the impacts of Venom (2018) and what it did for the super hero genre. Beloved Spider-Man villain gets his own anti-hero film starring Tom Hardy. The critics hated this film but audiences loved it. Where do you fall in?

It's a double cross on this episode as we break down the bad ass performance of Charlize Theron in Atomic Blonde (2017). A British Spy is forced to kick all sorts of ass in 1989 Berlin as she uncovers the identity of a rogue agent in MI6. Even though she has contacts, who can she actually trust?

They're called boobs, Ed! This week we continue our discussion of bad ass women in films, focusing now on Erin Brockovich (2000) starring the amazing Julia Roberts. When a down-on-her-luck mother of three stumbles upon a intriguing legal case, she and attorney Ed devote their lives to working on it. Erin dedicates her time to the case, but even if that means sacrificing the opportunity to watch her kids grow?
