Troy Duffy's film tackles various themes of capital punishment as we are taken on a journey of religion and righteousness. That is, until a miracle pregnancy occurs. A political activist must do whatever is necessary to protect this mother and her child, salvaging what good is still left in this world. The movie stars Clive Owen, Julianne Moore, Michael Caine, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Claire Hope-Ashitay.

This week we stroll down 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) for some unsettling vibes. The film is directed by Dan Trachtenberg and is a spiritual successor to Cloverfield (2008). In the movie we are riddled with doubt and fear after a possible chemical attack on the United States leaves three survivors together in a fallout shelter. How long could you hold out in a bunker without going crazy? That question is pretty relevant today give the current global pandemic. Please stay healthy and safe! The film stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Goodman and John Gallagher Jr.
